Todays Little Known Black Facts cover Lewis Latimer and Jesse Owens
Latimer: created many inventions but is mostly known for the air conditioner and the carbon filament that powered the light bulb. without Latimer we would be in the dark and would not be able to cool off on hot days.
Owens: in 1936 set an Olympic long jump record, that would not be beaten for 25 years. He also won 4 gold medals and in 1990 posthumously received a Congressional Gold medal.
